About Me

Ed formed The Yen Group of Stifel in April 2013 after 33 years at one of the nation’s premier investment banks.

Ed was named one of Barron’s Top 1,000 Advisors in 2009, 2010, and 2011.* He holds both the Certified Investment Management AnalystSM (CIMA®) and Certified Private Wealth AdvisorSM (CPWA®) professional designations.

Ed is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, having received a degree in Political Science. 

Ed continues to build on his community involvement in the Treasure Coast and South Florida. He is currently an active member, usher, lay reader, and member of the Worship Committee of the Christ Memorial Chapel on Jupiter Island, Hobe Sound. Prior to moving to Hobe Sound, Ed was actively involved in the Columbus and Central Ohio community, having served on the Board of Trustees of the Columbus College of Art and Design (2007-2016); the Columbus Academy (2013-2020); The Columbus School for Girls (1994-2002); and St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and the Diocese of
Southern Ohio.

Ed is the proud grandparent of Molly and Jack Leahy, and proud of his three grown children. Ed currently lives at the Mariner Sands Country Club in Stuart, Florida, where he is an active golfer and resides in New Albany/Columbus, Ohio.

About Me

Ryan began his investment industry career in 1999 and joined Stifel in 2019. Prior to Stifel, he served as a financial advisor and Branch Manager with Merrill Lynch’s Jupiter, Florida, office.

Working closely with high-net-worth investors, their families, and businesses, Ryan focuses on developing customized investment, retirement income, and estate planning strategies that help his clients pursue their short- and long-term goals. His investment approach is consultative, objective, and committed to excellence. Ryan prides himself on his ability to listen to clients’ ideas about their financial situations, family dynamics, risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and preferences. He leverages Stifel’s vast resources to help his clients explore a wide range of possible solutions.

A Pittsburgh native, Ryan graduated with a B.A. in Business and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation from College for Financial Planning and hold Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 31, and 66 securities licenses.

Outside the office, he is a member of the Sports Financial Advisor Association, which
provides the opportunity to network with a broad array of like-minded professionals from around the world.
